Through his many years experience of the public, sport and recreation and funding sectors, Fred realised that a market existed for a consultancy that could offer a service to the sport and recreation sector, which was both responsive to individual clients requirements and cost-effective. This is particularly pertinent to voluntary sector organisations seeking to develop projects and related funding bids.

We are available to undertake feasibility studies and research; help organisations formulate and submit quality funding bids and offer a post-Award service to help bring projects to fruition. Additional services offered include an Office Bureau service, capable of producing professional Powerpoint and image-based presentations and professionally formatted documents for those without dedicated secretarial support.

In the company's first year of trading, a wide ranging portfolio of clients and projects were successfully developed. In particular, successful funding bids were developed in respect of sports facilities and a community sports development outreach programme for Central Education and Training in Nottingham, resulting in a £500,000 Capital Award and a £169,191 Revenue Award from Sport England's Active England programme, and a further £134,500 Capital grant from Nottingham City Council's Neighbourhood Renewal Fund.

Because we are able to operate with a minimal core staff, our fee structure offered to clients is consequently highly competitive.

However, through our network of collaborative associations we have developed with other companies and individual practitioners, we can call upon a wide range of skills and experience for any project, ensuring that every project team is formed to match the specific requirements of that particular contract.
